'Happy and Glorious'

We give thanks and remember that on 9th September 2015, Elizabeth II outstripped the length of Victoria's reign and - after 63 years and 216 days on the throne - she became the longest-reigning king or queen in the 1,000 and more years of the monarchy in Britain.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Remembrance Day Service 2015

The University of Sheffield Gospel Choir performed at Immanuel Church on 7th May 2016. Choir members have family in Birmingham and this was their 5th annual performance in the city. The concert had people up from their seats and dancing in the aisles and raised over £300 for Christian Aid, one of the main charities the choir supports and £100 for Immanuel Church. The choir will next perform at St Mark's church in Broomhill, Sheffield on Friday 20th May from 7pm and they hope to return to Birmingham next year.                           Photos - Liz Harding

Revd Rebecca’s Last Service at Immanuel

During the 10:00am Communion service we celebrated the 6 years that Revd Rebecca has served Immanuel and the Parish of Highters Heath.

In the Church hall after the service we joined together for refreshments and to say our Good-byes to Rebecca and Brian as they move to North Meols in the diocese of Liverpool
