Immanuel ECO Church

Eco Church

Eco Church is a learning community of churches of all shapes and sizes open to all denominations. It provides a framework to support churches and their leadership to take practical action on caring for God's earth.

Immanuel PCC have committed to becoming an ECO Church and as such has formed a committee to carry out The Eco Church survey.  The work they have done has now achieved the Bronze award and hopefully, we will go on to achieve Silver or Gold Eco Church.  Taking part in Rocha UK’s Eco Church is absolutely free.  However, there may be costs attached to the work that we, as a church, decide to do in order to become an Eco Church. For more information or if you would like to join the team, please see Ian.  Visit https://ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/stories/. to see what its all about.

Vinted at Immanuel!

Another re-use/re-purpose initiative, and to help us raise funds for Immanuel just bring to church unwanted, good quality, clothes (for men, women and children) and give them to Helena and Ian, who will sell them on Vinted.

Seasonal clothes are preferred, children’s clothes are particularly popular. Any questions? Have a chat with Helena and Ian.

Edible Hedge

In January 2026, in partnership with the Fruit & Nut Village we planted a new #ForagingHedge. The Friends of Daisy Farm Park, Hollywood Pre School and Hollywood Primary School also joined us, and we are most grateful to the Fruit and Nut Village for the donation of the plants and the friends for all their help. Great work kids!

Empties & blister packs What an amazing response to

the appeal for 'empties' and blister packs! Thank you to

you all – and to Helena for masterminding this project.

As the saying goes - 'keep taking the tablets'!
