New Safeguarding Co-Ordinator

I have recently taken on the role of Parish Safeguarding Co-Ordinator for Immanuel. This means that I become the first point of contact (alongside Revd Sandra) for any concerns around the safety of those using our church, particularly children and vulnerable adults.

I work alongside the safeguarding team in my paid job (for the Diocese of Worcester) and thought that I could put some of my knowledge to good use in our parish. I firmly believe that we all have a role to play in helping to ensure our church is as safe as possible for everyone who visits.

If you have any worries, please don’t hesitate to catch me in church or give me a call on 07887 777674. Sam Setchell

Take Five is a national campaign that offers straight-forward and  impartial advice to help people protect themselves from financial fraud. Fraudsters will use many tactics to obtain money or financial information from us. Be extremely wary of unsolicited phone calls claiming that there is an issue with your bank account or requesting assistance with an ongoing bank or police investigation.

Remember not to share your PIN, bank card, or withdraw money or buy items on behalf of a stranger, no matter who they say they are. For more information visit takefive-stopfraud.org.uk
