Coffee & Chat at Immanuel 

The church is open to the community on the third Friday of each month. This is an opportunity to meet friends, old and new. Refreshments will be available and there may be a quiz or craft activity too. Everyone is welcome.  Please note that there is no Coffee and Cake in April.  The next Coffee and Chat is Friday 16th May 2:00pm. 


Gardening Days

Annual Parochial Church Meeting 2025

This year the Annual Parochial Church Meeting takes place on Sunday 18th May 11.30am - 12.30pm. Do put the date in your diary and join us to celebrate what Immanuel has achieved over the year.

Crafternoon

New to Immanuel, all crafters and none crafters welcome.

Every Wednesday 12-2pm during term time.

Bring your on-going craft projects or try new ones.

Voices Together – Community Choir

The Voices Together Community Choir continues to meet at Immanuel on Tuesday evenings during term time. They have grown in number with around 30 – 35 attending rehearsals. If you love singing, come and join us, we are open to everyone.  For more information see Ann Rose.

As we start a new year as a Fairtrade church, it is inspiring to look at Fairtrade’s wrap up video for 2024. It highlights the incredible achievements brought to life through the stories of farmers, workers, partners, campaigners, and supporters like all of us at Immanuel.

RISE UP!

RISE UP!

RISE UP! is a new campaign from The Mothers’

Union. It aims to raise awareness and

understanding about domestic abuse.

In support of this campaign, and in line with

Immanuel’s own policy on domestic abuse, you will see a poster on the noticeboard with the local helpline number. Please raise awareness of this.

Take Five is a national campaign that offers straight-forward and  impartial advice to help people protect themselves from financial fraud. Fraudsters will use many tactics to obtain money or financial information from us. Be extremely wary of unsolicited phone calls claiming that there is an issue with your bank account or requesting assistance with an ongoing bank or police investigation.  

Remember not to share your PIN, bank card, or withdraw money or buy items on behalf of a stranger, no matter who they say they are. For more information visit takefive-stopfraud.org.uk
