Coffee & Chat at Immanuel 

The church is open to the community on the third Friday of each month. This is an opportunity to meet friends, old and new. Refreshments will be available and there may be a quiz or craft activity too. Everyone is welcome.  The next Coffee and Chat is Friday 17th January 2:00pm. 


Bishop Michael to visit Immanuel

We are delighted to let you know that Bishop Michael, Bishop of Birmingham, will be visiting Immanuel to lead our 10am Sunday morning service of Holy Communion on 2nd March 2025. Do put the date in your diary.

Voices Together – Community Choir

The Voices Together Community Choir continues to meet at Immanuel on Tuesday evenings during term time. They have grown in number with around 30 – 35 attending rehearsals. If you love singing, come and join us, we are open to everyone.  For more information see Ann Rose.

New Bishop of Aston

Revd Canon Esther Prior has been appointed as the next Bishop of Aston. She is currently Vicar of St John’s Egham, Diocese of Guildford, and takes up her post in Birmingham in 2025.

A very big thank you for your generosity in recent weeks.


The Toy Link Appeal (Birmingham City Mission) has thanked you all for your generosity on Gift Sunday, helping them provide Christmas gifts to over 1,500 families (3,000-4,000 children).


Our support of the Edward’s Trust’s Christmas Jumper Day raised £177 for their work with bereaved young people and their families in the West Midlands.


Donations at the Carol Concert were £407.65 and will go

towards the running of Immanuel church.

Little Dots Play Village is at Immanuel Church on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

RISE UP!

RISE UP!

RISE UP! is a new campaign from The Mothers’

Union. It aims to raise awareness and

understanding about domestic abuse.

In support of this campaign, and in line with

Immanuel’s own policy on domestic abuse, you will see a poster on the noticeboard with the local helpline number. Please raise awareness of this.

Take Five is a national campaign that offers straight-forward and  impartial advice to help people protect themselves from financial fraud. Fraudsters will use many tactics to obtain money or financial information from us. Be extremely wary of unsolicited phone calls claiming that there is an issue with your bank account or requesting assistance with an ongoing bank or police investigation.  

Remember not to share your PIN, bank card, or withdraw money or buy items on behalf of a stranger, no matter who they say they are. For more information visit takefive-stopfraud.org.uk
